Erin Kewin

CFI, Aircraft and Helicopters


Erin brings real world experience to the Civic Helicopter Instructor team, with experience flying throughout the U.S., Africa and South West Asia.  Erin served for 9 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CH-53E Super Stallion pilot. In 1999 he earned his Naval Aviator Wings and Commercial Fixed and Rotary Wing licenses and well as his Instrument rating. He served primarily with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 based in New River, North Carolina and deployed overseas twice as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.  When asked about his reason for joining Civic, Erin stated, “I’ve had great instructors and flying mentors through the years, it’s important to me to pass on the lessons I have learned to our students, and help them become safe and professional pilots.”
