In his own words: “I attended Civic Helicopters from January 2005 to December 2005 as a student and was fortunate to begin work there the very next month. I now work for PHI Inc. flying both personnel and cargo in support of Oil and Gas companies in the Gulf of Mexico. I began flying light ships in the Gulf after leaving Civic in October of 2006. PHI trained me in their Bell 206L-3 helicopters initially and four months later transitioned me into Bell 407’s.
Several months later I was given an opportunity to fly our Sikorsky S76 A++ in May of 2007. Coincidentally, Eugene Chua and I were in the same training group. I spent the next few years in various contracts flying S76 A++, C+, and C++ models for such companies as Apache Corp, BHP Billiton, BP, Conoco, ENI, ExxonMobil, Nexen, and Shell. Currently, PHI’s Shell contract calls for a move to the newer AW139 helicopter and I am in training at RotorSim’s training facility located in New Jersey. The AW139 is scheduled to be on the line at PHI within the next few months.”
